Meet Dr. Shagun Dhaliwal
Dr. Dhaliwal grew up in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex and is proud to bring her skillset back home to serve her community.
Dr. Dhaliwal graduated with honors from the University of Oklahoma as a part of the highly selective Medical Humanities Scholars Program (sequential BA/MD track). After completing her undergraduate studies she went on to earn her medical degree at Texas A&M College of Medicine.
Following this she completed residency training in ophthalmology at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center, where she had the privilege of serving as chief resident in her final year. Post residency, Dr. Dhaliwal completed a fellowship in cornea, external disease, and refractive surgery at the prestigious Moran Eye Center at the University of Utah.
In her free time Dr. Dhaliwal enjoys spending time with family, traveling, and outdoor activities (running, hiking, and skiing).

Dr. Shagun Dhaliwal is a board-certified ophthalmologist and surgeon and a diplomate of the American Board of Ophthalmology. She is member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgeons, Cornea Society, and Texas Medical Association.
